Welcome to all of our new families who started this year at MPHCCC! We love supporting our children and families and are humbled to be a part of their development. And a big welcome back to our current families for yet another year of fun.
Let’s dive into the fun and celebrations we have been involved with over the last term starting with Holi which we celebrated in our yard!
Birthday Celebrations
When it is one of our amazing children’s birthdays, we like to celebrate by cooking a meal of their choice to share with the group. There is always a really great response to this activity and the children love getting involved with preparing and cooking the meals to share with their friends!
Sustainability at MPHCCC
Our children and educators have continued to put in effort to care for our beautiful yard. Lyndy is our sustainability champion and has created a roster to help ensure that our garden is being watered at the correct time of day by each group.
Here at MPHCCC we are really encouraging children and educators to challenge themselves with incorporating recyclable items in to play spaces.
Easter Celebrations
We have been quite busy here at MPHCCC getting ready for the Easter bunny to arrive! Children have spent time preparing Easter bonnets for the parade to showcase their beautiful work. Easter stories are being shared and different Easter activities are keeping our friends very busy! We hope that all families enjoyed the Easter weekend!
Currently
There are many projects happening at the centre at the moment. Our Cosy Cocoon Room is focusing on letter recognition and the children are loving it! During circle time each morning, our children have the opportunity to talk about topics they are interested in!
Our centre is very much dedicated to sustainability and we are always challenging ourselves to think of ways we can implement recyclable materials into our learning experiences. We can’t wait to see what our talented educators and children come up with.
