Eucalyptus Parade Kindergarten had an exciting Term 3!
In week 2 of Term 3, the children explored the role of police officers within our community. The educational session was followed by the Epping Police officers visiting our centre. The children had the opportunity to sit in a police car and hit the lights and sirens.
As part of Science Week, the teachers from our centre organised the Henny Penny Chickens incursion, where the children could observe the life cycle of chickens. That experience has stimulated the children’s scientific dispositions, including curiosity and investigation.
As part of Book Week, the children worked on creating their own book related to the Henny Penny incursion, as they all reflected on that fantastic experience.
In August, the Eucalyptus Parade Kindergarten had its official opening, supported by our CEO Michele Rowse, Ingrid Stitt- Minister for Early Childhood and Pre-Prep and Minister for Workplace Safety and Lydia Wilson- the City of Whittlesea’s Chair Administrator.
In September, we celebrated the Educator’s Day and acknowledged our amazing teachers and educators.
All the children from Eucalyptus Parade kindergarten, finished their Term 3 by participating in a Teddy Bear picnic.
