Hi families what an amazing and busy first term, please read below some of our incredible highlights over the last few weeks.
We started our year off with our amazing Henny Penny incursion week, this was lots of fun and the children showed great interest in our chicken’s life cycle and we all learnt that different coloured eggs means a we will get a different coloured chick.
We visited the Diggers Rest animal farm on our very first excursion for the year. We were able to feed the pigs, cows and ducks. Our pre Kinder and Kinder children were able to milk a cow. On our visit to the animal farm we learnt about how strong pigs are.
Holi and harmony week was a very popular event. The children and educators dressed up and we were all educated about the festival and the meaning behind it. We had some of our amazing parents come into the centre and read us stories and sing songs about these events most children and educators wore their very best suits. We also did some amazing colourful body painting on paper and created colourful pigment that we spread with love to each other to celebrate Holi, we have displayed these amazing creations in our corridor.
Easter was another amazing celebration we created some amazing art pieces that we have displayed in our corridor. We also had a visit from our Easter bunny who left us some surprises that we had to hunt for in our yard. We had a great morning tea with our families, we enjoyed some hot cross buns and barrister style coffee we all sat together in our parent hub and talked about how we are going to celebrate our Easter.
Our Nursery rooms went on their first bush walk and collected some amazing natural resources, they will be incorporating these into their natural art pieces for our surprise gifts.

Our pre Kinder and Kinder children got to participate in an amazing opportunity with professional soccer teachers come and teach us some amazing skills, we were so lucky that they were able to provide this one on one experience.
All of our children have been very happy to have magic Jenny back after our covid restrictions. All children have been very engaged in her program and we love dancing, singing and dressing up when she comes to play.
Our Service is also proud to announce we are a kinder tick service!
