It has been a terrific first term and we would like to thank all the parents and guardians for your connection to our kindergarten and for the commitment and hard work in supporting your children to be ready for learning.
Learning about diversity
This term, the children have been busy settling into their new environments, learned new routines and developed new relationships. The children also explored the importance of friendships and of different cultures by participating in educational programmes which included acknowledging the Harmony week, Holi Festival of Colours and more!
First Nations culture was also a big focus during this time as we learned to participate in an Acknowledgement of Country.
Out ‘n about
We have been enjoying both incursions as well as walks in nature around the community. We’re looking forward to continuing our adventures with the participation of parents once restrictions have eased.
We would like to congratulate all families on packing your children healthy snacks. At this time in a child’s life, it is important to educate children on the benefits of healthy eating. Of course, we all enjoy those little indulgences, and this is where “sometimes foods” comes into play.
We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know your children and we know this will continue to develop throughout the year.
